Monica Supports Hamilton Advertiser Christmas Toy Appeal
Monica was delighted to visit Happy Feet Nursery in Larkhall to support the Hamilton Advertiser’s Christmas Toy Appeal 2019.
Monica was pleased to deliver a selection of gifts to the popular Larkhall Nursery. These donations, together with the hundreds of parcels from members of the public and local businesses throughout the appeal, will guarantee that less fortunate young people in South Lanarkshire have a special Christmas this year. Happy Feet Nursery are no stranger to the Christmas Toy Appeal, partnering with the Hamilton Advertiser as a drop-off point for gifts, along with the Salvation Army in Hamilton.
Happy Feet Nursery staff said they were overwhelmed by the generosity of the local community who delivered presents from October through to December.
Monica said “For some families, Christmas can be a time of despair as they struggle to make ends meet, but year after year, thanks to the Hamilton Advertiser Christmas Toy Appeal, generous readers and businesses help make hundreds of children smile on December 25 when they awake to a host of goodies and gifts. The toys and gifts are needed for babies right up to 21 year olds. Happy Feet Nursery in Larkhall are continually supporting charities and the local community, so it is no surprise they are championing this year’s appeal.”
