Press release: Celebrating the Tie campaign

Central Scotland MSP Monica Lennon met with representatives of the Tie (Time for Inclusive Education) campaign at the Scottish Parliament on Thursday, June 30.

The Scottish Labour and Co-operative member said: “It was a pleasure to meet with the Tie campaign group on the last day of parliament before recess on Thursday, which also happened to be the last day of Pride month.

“Tie have been tireless in their quest for inclusive education in Scotland’s schools and I never fail to be inspired by their determination, enthusiasm and positive campaigning.

“It was wonderful to see their work in helping to make Scotland the first country in the world to have LGBT-inclusive education celebrated by members across all parties.”
